Now that the sweltering days of summer are behind us, it’s time to break out the jeans and football tees. It’s also time to think Christmas shopping! With seasonal holidays cresting the corner, there’s oodles to do, especially shopping—for unique gifts, party dresses, and holiday décor.


Former active members of the Junior Service League of St. Augustine, Inc. (JSL), named Active Sustainers, have put together a solution — The Holly Jolly Shopping Spree! This is a great opportunity to get a jump start on the season, find special treasures, and support our local businesses who consistently and generously support the League and their community. Proceeds benefit the projects of the League.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 5th from 10 am to 4 pm and join us for a whirlwind “shop-a-thon” by way of the St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains meandering from Sebastian Avenue to King Street to St. George Street, and Anastasia Island. Whet your appetite and warm up to a fall lunch and salad buffet at The Tasting Room, Contemporary Spanish Restaurant.

There will be two departure/return times: 9:45 to 3:00 and 10:45 to 4:00. Please park behind Ripley's Believe It or Not! We are limited to 50 guests per departure time.
