About

In an effort to continue our support for the St. Augustine Lighthouse, the League hosts an annual 5k & Fun Run! The inaugural race in 1983 was originally titled the “Bud Light Twilight Lighthouse Run.” Hosted by RaceSmith, Inc. the Lighthouse 5k is a chipped race that serves as a qualifier for the famed Gate River Run. The one mile Fun Run is a true treat for the little runners! Don’t miss the awards ceremony following the race on the beautiful Lighthouse grounds. 

Our Night Fest celebration begins immediately following the race and includes activities for the kids such as face painting, arts and crafts, STEAM projects, Photos with Pirates, Live Music, Pizza & Wine, Beer, and more! Don’t miss the opportunity to support the Lighthouse and climb the beautiful tower for FREE! Stay tuned for more information about our upcoming Lighthouse 5K and Fun Run 40th Anniversary!!

The 5K and Fun Run will start and end at the St. Augustine Lighthouse.

5K starts at 3pm Fun Run starts at 4pm, Night Fest immediately following

Our 2023 Race Day is February 18th, 2023 – see you there!

There are three areas nearby for parking:

  • At or across from the Lighthouse
  • Outside of the Soccer fields
  • Off Red Cox Drive
  • Front of R.B. Hunt Elementary School
  • After 3PM, Yacht Club

NO PARKING IN TRAILER LOT

Please be mindful to respect our neighbors and not drive through the local neighborhood. Thank you!.

The course is a flat 3.1 mile USATF certified course going through Historic Lighthouse Park and Davis Shores.

Online registration is open! Walk-up registrations will be open on the day of the race. Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Awards will be given out at the Post-Race Celebration along with refreshments. The top overall Male and Female Runners will be awarded $100. The top three participants in each age group will receive awards.

Each age division has separate male and female groups. The divisions are as follows:

  • 10 & Under
  • 11-14
  • 15-18
  • 19-24
  • 25-29
  • 30-34
  • 35-39
  • 40-44
  • 45-49
  • 50-54
  • 55-59
  • 60-64
  • 65-69
  • 70 & Over

Packet pick-up will be at The Village Food Truck Park Friday February 17th from 4-7pm.  They will also be available on race day.

We encourage all participants to register early as T-Shirts may not be available for later entrants.
