2018 Feel the Wheels Pictures and Recap

The Junior Service League’s annual Feel the Wheels event is a super fun, family-friendly event where kids and families can climb in and get in the driver seat of MANY different kinds of vehicles.

Each year the planning starts early.  Meetings to get new ideas, and chart out our plans, contacting repeat vehicles and recruiting new ones, booking entertainment and food, marketing through all media outlets, schools and local businesses, and most importantly securing sponsors.

And with great work comes great reward!

This year was a smashing success and raised a lot of money for the Tag! Children’s Museum. We had an outstanding response from local businesses as sponsors and a stellar attendance on the day of the event! From race cars and monster trucks, to buses and cherry pickers, we had it all his year!! A couple highlights were the Ghostbuster’s in full gear with their Ecto 1 and Ghostbuster truck plus the Marshmallow Man, the Swashbucklers Pirates with their Ship, the Florida fish and wildlife’s boat with a wild alligator, a chalkboard SUV to draw on, SJC Pink Heals Pink firetruck, the US Coast Guard, Game Time Game Truck, Scott Lagasse Race Car Team, Hamster Time Sno-Cones, Bozard Ford, plus, being able to watch the Flagler Trauma One Helicopter land and take off!

This event could not have been the success it was without the support of our local community. We are so grateful to every business involved! The smiles and excitement from the children’s faces are always a reminder that the work we do as a league is well worth it!
